Gaze upon the Lord” — St Clare

It is pleasant to spend time with Him, to lie close to His breast like the Beloved Disciple, and to feel the infinite love present in His heart. …. How often I have experienced this and drawn from it, strength, consolation and support.
— St. John Paul 11

Adoration of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist is at the heart of our contemplative life. This spirit of prayer permeates our day, whether we are praying at Holy Mass, participating in the Liturgy of the Hours, fulfilling our daily work or enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.

Adoration of the most Blessed Sacrament is our great joy, delight and privilege. To be called and to be specially set apart by our religious consecration is to live a life centred on the Eucharist.
Jesus is truly in our midst! These hours before Jesus are our most precious moments!

While adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we are kneeling at the source of Divine Love.  We try to be open vessels allowing His love to flow into us and then out to the ends of the earth.

In prayer, we lift up to God the whole world, the Church, and the many petitions of those who have asked or need our prayers.

Gaze upon the Lord

Each day we draw life from Jesus in the Eucharist as He draws life from His Father.
Each day we hear Jesus saying to us in the scriptures “do not be afraid, I am with you.”
Each day Jesus renews his assurance of His presence and His love “I have called you by Name.”

A bell rings three times on the hour to remind everyone of the Adoration going on in the Chapel. This encourages the faithful to join in spirit in adoring, praising and thanking God for this most wonderful gift of Jesus continuously dwelling among us in the Blessed Sacrament.
